I love the sun

Since the show I'm suppose to be blogging on does not start until the end of October, I figured I would take this time to talk about another show I love.

Always Sunny in Philadelphia is just fantastic. I don't know how else to say it. You would think after six seasons the gang would start running out of ideas. That is not the case in my view however. Season seven has started with a bang in its first three episodes. The first episode was centered around Frank trying to marry a crack whore, good old family entertainment for sure. The second took the gang out of Philly and brought them to the Jersey shore as they tried to relive the fun they had in their youths. The Jersey episode followed the characters around while they each lived different stories while there... Frank and Mac were lost at sea until the Italians saved them and their "rum ham". Dennis and Dee were witness to a robbery and murder while hanging out with drug crazed criminals, and finally Charlie had a special night with the waitress, who is the girl of his dreams. Last nights episode was also really good. It featured the gang hosting a kids beauty pageant while trying to convince people they weren't child diddlers.

If you have never seen this show, then shame on you. I suggest if my blog confused you because you didn't have any background on the characters you should consult season one and go from their. You will want to hug more for the good I've brought into your life. If you already watch this show then we are friends forever.

Allen Gregory

Fox has decied to ad to their Sunday night Animation Domination by green lighting "Allen Gregory" for 13 episdoes starting on Oct. 30th. The show was co-created by Jonah Hill who is famous for movies such as Superbad and Get him to the Greek. I find Hill funny in most of the movies he has been in, and I hope that his style of humor can translate into a cartoon. The base of Allen is the story of a seven year old kid who is matured well beyond his years and finds that it is tought to relate to kids his age. A twist on the show is that Allen has two dads and is raised in a common law marriage home. It will be tough to sway the fan base of Seth McFarlane, because fans are use to tuning in on Sunday and seeing his style of humor.

Although i hope that this show works, because like I mentioned, I am a fan of Jonah Hill, but after watching the trailor a couple times I'm not sure how good this show is going to be. I really didn't laugh in the two minute preview and that makes me nervous because the show will be about 21 minutes long. Something about a pretentious seven year old doesn't work for me. If the show tanks I will blame it on Hill's recent crack-like weight loss and wish him the best in his future endevours.
